About Us

Neighbourhood Pharmacy has been a proud participant in the Richmond Hill community for over 20 years. Our store was originally a block north of its current location and moved to where it is today in 1995. We pride ourselves in being focused on health and wellness and nothing else – a traditional neigbhourhood pharmacy you can trust and be sure you are getting proper care and advice. This, along with good customer service and products, has allowed our store and staff to be the number one choice for all health and wellness needs in the area.

We specialize in Diabetes care, information, and supplies and are affiliated with the Canadian Diabetes Association. We offer free blood pressure testing, have knowledgeable staff, and work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere. In a regular week we service over 200 clients with their weekly compliance packaging. Because of these things we have been recognized by the York South Association for Community Living as Outstanding Professionals.

Giving back to the community is an important part of what we do. We support Deafblind Ontario services, an organization that supports individuals who are deafblind to live and thrive within the community through residential and other specialized services. We also support L’Arche Daybreak, who support men and women with intellectual disabilities, and we support the York South Association for Community Living, which is a community involvement association.
